Undergraduate Program

Tokyo Keizai University has four faculties: Economics, Business Administration, Communication Studies, and Contemporary Law. With the "TKU Challenge System," or TKU's original, three-layered educational system ("Basic Program," "Undergraduate Education," and "Advanced Program"), undergraduate students can acquire basic to highly specialized knowledge that is important to becoming full-fledged members of society.

Faculty of Economics

The Faculty of Economics educates students to analyze the various economic problems caused by globalization, and to develop solutions. TKU creates in them a sense of good citizenship, with highly specialized economic knowledge and ethics, to lead solution projects for various domestic and overseas problems. By providing students with high quality practical education, the school promotes various fundamental research.

Faculty of Business Administration

The Faculty of Business Administration consists of two departments: The Department of Business Administration offers a wide range of programs in management, management science, and accounting; the Department of Marketing and Distribution offers a specialized program in this field.

Faculty of Communication Studies

The Faculty of Communication Studies was founded in 1995 as a pioneer program in Japan. From their second year, students start to learn one of three courses: media communication, corporate communication, and global communication.

Faculty of Contemporary Law

The Faculty of Contemporary Law educates students to develop a legal mind and acquire the knowledge essential for citizens in the twenty-first century. Furthermore, it is the goal of the Faculty that all students will contribute to society in various fields using knowledge obtained through a broad range of subjects and international experience. To this end, the faculty offers programs in general law, business law, consumer law, environmental law, social welfare law, and public policy. Students learn analytic and legal methods to resolve contemporary problems.
