Students who: are taking face-to-face classes; are using the university facilities; are carrying out activities that are extensions of seminar classes and/ or regional cooperation activities; or have extra-curricular activities (only applicable for groups that have received permission) are allowed on campus. TKU faculty members and other people who have made reservations in advance are also allowed on campus.

The body temperature and student ID check takes place on the 1st floor of the Student Welfare Building (Gakusei Kousei Kaikan). Anyone with a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher cannot enter campus. People who have fever symptoms or feel ill in any way are asked to refrain from coming to the university.
  4. Measures for Preventing Infections
Everyone must wear a mask will on campus. Please maintain social distance and do not speak with a loud voice unless necessary. Please keep these same prevention measures in mind when commuting to and from school and when using public transportation.

【For All Students】Regarding 2nd Semester Classes

For the second semester, while online classes will be held as a base, subjects such as seminars, practical training, and workshops will be held face-to-face after taking the necessary prevention measures. The possibility of online classes will also be considered for students that cannot join in face-to-face classes. For details about classes, please check the TKU portal site.

  1. As a general rule, classrooms used for face-to-face classes will have two to three times as many seats as registered students.
  2. Equipment for broadcasting and recording and classes will be prepared for students who cannot participate in face-to-face classes.
  3. Face-to-face classes will be held following thorough preventative measures, such as mask-wearing, hand-washing, gargling, hand sanitizing, maintaining a one meter distance from everyone in a classroom, and classroom air ventilating.
  4. In addition to the PC self-study rooms, a large classroom with Wi-Fi has been opened as a study room for students to take online classes.
